Marriage is a sacred convenient between a man and woman. This loving commitment of a husband and wife speaks of family values and God's love.

Since this convenient is to not be entered into lightly, the Diocese of Little Rock guidelines state that there will be a 6 month period between the initial meeting with the pastor and the ceremony itself. During this time period couples will not only prepare for the ceremony but for the day to day relationship they will live throughout their married lives. Couples will be involved in catechesis, interviews, premarital assessment tools, a retreat, and planning a wedding according to the Rite of Marriage of the Catholic Church.

El Matrimonio es un convenio sagrado entre un hombre y una mujer. Este compromiso de amor entre esposo y esposa habla de los valores familiares y del amor de Dios.

Dado que este convenio no debe tomarse a la ligera, las reglas de la Diócesis de Little Rock establecen que Habrá un periodo de 6 meses entre la reunión inicial con el sacerdote y la ceremonia religiosa. Durante este periodo de tiempo, las parejas no solo se prepararán para la ceremonia, sino también para la relación diaria que vivirán a lo largo de su vida matrimonial. Las parejas participaran en las catequesis previstas, herramientas de evaluación prematrimonial, un retiro y la planificación de una boda de acuerdo al Rito del Matrimonio de la Iglesia Católica.
